    Fungicore is taken orally in a dose adjusted manner, depending on the condition and the results of cultures and laboratory studies.
    Side effects
    Most commonly reported side effects include gastrointestinal symptoms such as abdominal pain, diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, and flatulence. Abnormalities of hepatic, renal and haematological function have been observed during fluconazole therapy in some patients, particularly those with serious underlying diseases such as AIDS and cancer. Other side effects could be headache, rash, vision changes, taste perversion, fatigue and malaise.
